Wexford Lavender Farm cuts its lavender by hand. During July and August, when the lavender is in full bloom, we will be running supervised ‘cut your own’ lavender sessions. Visitors can cut and take home their own bunch of fresh lavender (€5 per bunch) daily at 11:00-12:00 and 14:00-15:00. Sessions starts 8th July (note not Mondays when we are closed)
Wexford Lavender Farm will be producing organic lavender oil from our harvest. Come and learn about the distillery process at our educational workshops. During July and August tours will be held every Saturday at 11:00 – pre-booking essential, groups of 10+ people. Tours will take approximately 45 minutes. Tours cost €6 per person. Please contact if you have a group of more than 10 people to arrange a time and date to suit. Please note all tours are weather permitting.
Wexford Lavender Farm will cater for all age groups with programmes designed to suit different ages.
We cater for primary school children from Junior Infants to 4th Class with tours which include: guided Fairy woodland walk with map for children to help look for the fairies houses and identify the trees they live in. Each child will receive a certificate on completion. Nature sheets are also available for children to learn about our woodlands and their inhabitants. This walk is approximately 2 km long and takes about one hour to complete. Old runners or boots and an outdoor coat are essential.
Children will also enjoy a ride on Billy the Bull (our quad barrel train) and time in our outdoor playground. Separate seating will be available for children to enjoy their own packed lunch and blackcurrant/orange squash and water will be provided. €5.00 per child, pre-booking essential. We have a small selection of children’s toys available for purchase in our giftshop.
Creche tours: Please note that Billy the Bull is suitable for children aged 3+, younger children can be accompanied by an adult.
Tours should be booked in advance in order to avoid any disappointment. Cancellations can only be accepted up to 5 days prior to your visit, thereafter we reserve the right to levy a 50% cancellation fee.
Why not hold your child’s birthday party at Wexford Lavender Farm? We offer 2 hours of fun to include: quad train ride, outdoor play area, and a kids menu with squash. Craft theme party with make and take home, jewellery (bracelet or necklace) for girls and pirate mask & sword for boys. Bring your own cake. Cost of party is €10.00 per child.
We also offer parties with Claymazing where children will use mess-free air-dry clay to create their own masterpiece to take home. These can be customised to suit your child. €14 per child.

Our new craft room featuring homemade unique crafts direct from the makers, on display and for sale. Craft room is open 12pm – 3pm daily.
Wexford Lavender Farm runs kids workshops throughout the year, including classes with Claymazing using air-dry mess-free clay and with Little Gems Baking Academy where children decorate 2-3 buns to enjoy and take home. Our workshops will run for 1 hour and pricing will include all materials and the finished product. All workshops are pre-bookable with full payment required using PayPal. We run Floristry workshops throughout the year. You will design and make your own 20 cm round floral wreath to take home using dried lavender and other flowers. Classes take 2.5 hours, pre-booking essential. Minimum of 5, maximum of 10 attendees. Cost: €30 per person and include all materials and tea/coffee and a scone. See Facebook for details.
